I would be, the outfit. Be it the bride's dress, or the groom's baju melayu.
If you girls type of person yang very details, mesti akan kisah dengan baju yang terletak elok on the body. Kan? Kan? I selalu perasan, baju pengantin lelaki selalunya besar, dan sangatlah tak terletak elok. Rasa macam sangat spoil gambar bila si bride dah pakai dress cantek bagai, tapi baju si lelaki macam nampak sangat bukan size dia. Jadi, selaen kita yang girls ne invest banyak on our own wedding dress, why not give a little concern on the groom's attire.
Based on my experience pergi survey at Bridal Boutique, selalunya if we opted to take dress without baju melayu+jaket sarung, selalunya minus rm100-rm200 ja. And the boutique wont make major alteration for baju melayu. Maybe some boutique did major alteration but not that I came across during my survey. If your guy size standard, baju melayu tuh memang akan cun-cun fit his body. What if your guy not in the standard size? [**size standard:size S,M,L,XL]
So, the only choice left is by tailor made the baju melayu+jaket sarung... Jaket sarung maybe takboleh berulang kali pakai, tapi baju melayu boleh diulang pakai. Pergi masjid, dinner, kenduri kawen, dan jugak pakai time raya. Kan cantek kalau baju lelaki terletak elok, baju perempuan jugak terletak cantek. Barulah sama cantek sama padan. Nak photoshoot abang gagah dukung pengantin perempuan pun nampak sangat meyakinkan bila garis bahu baju terletak sahaja. Hmmm...
Okey, I dok pong-pang-pong-pang ne sebenarnya nak share/promote my future parents in law business. Haha. It's Y.S Tailor.
They've been in the business more than 20years. Nak cecah sama dengan umur I. Bayangkan, masa I baby lagi dorang dah start buat baju melayu. No doubt la tentang kepakaran mereka. I bukan nak gebang lebih, tapi even artis dan juga orang kenamaan pun tempah baju kat dorang. Dan dorang jugak selalu dapat tempahan untuk baju nikah. Baju ready made pun ada. Kan senang bole terus match kat situ jugak. Nak tempah seluar kerja pun boleh. Haish, it's like one-stop centre dan heaven for the guys.
Nak cari kedai senang sangat. Kalau tanya orang KL, where is the best place to get baju melayu? Orang akan cakap 'Wisma Yakin'. Yep, it's located at Wisma Yakin, Masjid Jamek. Naek LRT turun ja kat Masjid Jamek. Jalan tak sampai 5minit, dah sampai. Kedai baris belakang, berdekatan dengan BAK Tailor jugak. Tak susah pun nak cari. Memandangkan sekarang musim nak Raya, memang kedai dibuka sepanjang hari.
If sesape rasa macam nak tanya details, nak tempah or ape2 pertanyaan, do email me. I sudi menjawab. I tergerak hati nak tolong business bakal mentua selepas blogwalking at this one blog. She did reviewed her husband baju melayu during solemnization. And yes, dorang tempah kat Y.S Tailor. Then, I was thinking why not I put up an entry about their business. Tak salah pun kan. Effort-effort-effort inshaallah akan membuahkan hasil. Heeee...
Andd...boleh jugak singgah kedai M.Z Tahir. Do take orders for Baju Melayu. Jugak di Wisma Yakin Masjid India...[ini adalah kedai arwah nenek I.Z and run by his family jugak]. Told you, they've been in this business sangat lama dan memang specialized in Baju Melayu.

Ground Floor, Wisma Yakin, Jalan Masjid India, 50100 KL.
